<span style="color: #0b5394;"><span id="freeText12471435337622470704">Celia Reynolds is the
youngest in a set of triplets and the one with the least valuable power.
Anne can see the future, and Jane can see the present, but all Celia
can see is the past. And the past seems so insignificant -- until Celia
meets Lo.<br /><br />Lo doesn't know who she is. Or who she was. Once a
human, she is now almost entirely a creature of the sea -- a nymph, an
ocean girl, a mermaid -- all terms too pretty for the soulless monster
she knows she's becoming. Lo clings to shreds of her former self,
fighting to remember her past, even as she's tempted to embrace her dark
immortality.<br /><br />When a handsome boy named Jude falls off a pier and
into the ocean, Celia and Lo work together to rescue him from the
waves. The two form a friendship, but soon they find themselves
competing for Jude's affection. Lo wants more than that, though.
According to the ocean girls, there's only one way for Lo to earn back
her humanity. She must persuade a mortal to love her . . . and steal his
soul.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #3d85c6;"><span id="freeText12471435337622470704">Admittedly, I started reading this book over a year ago and shamefully put it down. After reading the first chapter, I became upset....What? the author blended the first two book beautifully. Now we go from wolves to mermaids? Anywhoo, I decided to pick it back up yesterday and I am so glad I did. The book does tie in with the other two, you just have to read further to figure it out. It is a bit slow to start but not yawn worthy by any means and the perfect amount of detail. </span></span></span><br />

<span style="color: #4c1130;"><span style="font-size: large;">4.5 stars</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #4c1130;"><i><br /></i></span>
<span style="color: #4c1130;"><i>I gave this series as a whole 4.5 stars out of 5. These are Books 1,2, & 4 in the Rosemary Beach series and follow Blaire Wynn and Rush Finlay.</i></span><br />
<span style="color: #351c75;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #351c75;">This starts out with Blaire Wynn in a strange town at a house she with people she doesn't know, except for her dad. We soon learn that her father is not even here waiting for her when she needed him the most, at least until she gets back on her feet. </span><br />
<span style="color: #351c75;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #351c75;">Enter Rush Finlay, he is the only child of a rock star and a big deal in this small town, and he is Blaire's stepbrother.</span><br />
<span style="color: #351c75;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #351c75;">I loved this whole series. At time's I even hated Rush. When you read this book your emotions are all over the place. Then you find the one character in which you grab a hold of and take aim for, let it be anger, hate, understanding or anything really. For me that was Rush's spoiled brat of a sister Nan. She goes out of her way to being mean to Blaire and blame her for everything wrong in her life. Through it all though Blaire is somehow still strong, though at times you feel like Nan might actually break her down. </span><br />
<span style="color: #351c75;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #351c75;">Rush has always taken Nan's side but as the series goes on he really has to pick between always sticking up for her and cleaning up her mess or fighting for the girl he loves and the family he wants. </span><br />
<span style="color: #351c75;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #351c75;">I would recommend this series to everyone out there (18+ due to some sexual content). There are some funny moments, like Blaire pulling a gun on Nan. There are some hot moments, like Rush having sex with a girl on the patio and Blaire seeing, needless to say he lets her know that he knew she was watching. Blush worthy moment!!! </span><br />

middle-aged man returns to his childhood home to attend a funeral.
Although the house he lived in is long gone, he is drawn to the farm at
the end of the road, where, when he was seven, he encountered a most
remarkable girl, Lettie Hempstock, and her mother and grandmother. He
hasn't thought of Lettie in decades, and yet as he sits by the pond (a
pond that she'd claimed was an ocean) behind the ramshackle old
farmhouse, the unremembered past comes flooding back. And it is a past
too strange, too frightening, too dangerous to have happened to anyone,
let alone a small boy.</span></span><br />

I was looking for something to pull me out of my reading funk and boy was this what I really needed. We have all had those moments where we had drinks with friends and came up with or were talked into doing or going somewhere. Most the time we wake up the next day and change our minds. This book had me laughing, with moments like Beatrice's freak out on take off or the mad dash of the elevator for underwear. Not only does this book have great humor in it but it has some very sexy moments that leave you sweating from just reading it. <span style="color: red;">Again, I feel this book paled in comparison to the first book, Shiver. Linger was of course of the beaten path and unnecessary but Forever was a stretch. That is exactly what it felt like Mag was doing, Stretching. Again, there is a story here but the third book was the hardest to get through for me. It felt completely dragged out and I found my self yawning. The characters are admirable and the story is good but I feel that Linger and Forever could never compare to Shiver. There is a good story to be heard in all three books but when you see how wonderful Shiver is and then you go to Linger and Forever, you will understand. Its not the story in itself but the writing.</span></div>

<span style="color: lime; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">Honestly, I feel like this book was unnecessary. The first book ended perfectly to me and though it left a little room for imagination it brought Sam back to Grace. Also, the first book was so beautifully written and ultimately delightful in its wording that it makes this book pale in comparison. I do think the plot is something to commend and there is still a good story here but its hard to believe they came from the same author. No disrespect either,again still a good story just not as beautifully written in my opinion.</span><br />

<span style="color: #b4a7d6;">Passion
turns out to be my favorite in this series so far. You meet Bill, who
helps Luce on her journey through to past lives. Luce is going back to
try and figure out what is going on with her and Daniel. This book you
really start to understand Daniel more. See his love for Luce and how he
always stays by her side and waits for her to come around again. Lauren
Kate really opens up new ends to this book for a big final battle in
the next book, but every thing plays out so good in this. Turns out too
not only was Bill helping Luce to find her way but he was helping
himself to change how everything turns out. Bill really is Lucifer! And
he is trying to sway more of the fallen angels to his side but now you
learn he has a new plan! I gave this book <span style="color: #93c47d; font-size: large;"><b>4</b></span> out of <span style="color: #93c47d;"><b>5</b></span> stars because it really sucked you in and sets you up nicely for the final book.</span></div>

book two of the Fallen series, Torment, had a lot to hold up to.
Torment did not let me down either. Luce gets sent to a new school in
this book where she meets her new friend, Shelby. I think in this book I
loved reading more of Shelby's parts. She starts out not really caring
much for Luce and is very grumpy, but in the end she is the one that
helps Luce manipulate the shadows to explore past lives. You also meet
Miles in this book, who is crazy about Luce. I know at the end of the
first book you really are pulling and wanting Luce to be with Daniel but
then with Miles, you hope it will change and she will be with him. To
me what really made this book is Luce not following orders from Daniel
anymore. She took control and really can into her own . I gave this book

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="color: #9fc5e8;">The
one thing that I love about this book the most is that both authors
never planned ahead with this book. They simply emailed each chapter to
each other, back and forth. I think this made for an exciting outcome,
not to mention how refreshing it was. You could notice the switch
between Dash and Lily even without the title of each chapter changing or
the font. Instead of the same author for every changed character, you
got to have a different author for the main characters which results in
noticeable diversity that somehow works perfect with the other.</span></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="color: #9fc5e8;">So,
here you have Dash, bookish/snarly Dash, doing what he loves the best.
But what would you do if you found a notebook, hidden amongst all the
books, would you open it to read or put it back?</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="color: #9fc5e8;">This
begins the journey between Dash and Lily. Her pushing his buttons and
him trying to retaliate, and neither of them sure they want to meet. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<br /></div>

<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #9fc5e8;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">I

Hello and thank you for having me as a guest on your blog.
I’m very excited for the release of <i>Our
Souls to Keep</i>. It’s a beautiful story about love and redemption that will
touch your heart as much as the action will make your pulse race. I’m often
asked where I came up with the idea for this novel. The overall plot for <i>Our Souls to Keep </i>really came last. It
was the final scene of the story that popped into my head first. I saw it so
vividly in my mind, like I was watching a scene from a movie. I knew readers
would find it strikingly emotional and gripping. I couldn’t wait to build an in-depth
and engaging plot that would equal the powerful ending. After all, it’s the
journey to the climax that makes reading a book enjoyable. At the time, I was
working on a different novel. I jotted down some notes (I forget more ideas
than I remember.) and put it aside. But as much I tried to focus on the novel I
was writing, <i>Our Souls to Keep</i> kept
pecking at me, begging for attention. Once I was finally available to start writing
this novel, it was like running down hill. Plot ideas came and went, but at the
core of the story was this reluctant, forbidden love between two seemingly
different characters.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When I
started writing <i>Our Souls to Keep</i>, I
recognized that the plot was highly charged and twisting. I knew the story
would fall flat unless the main character had a strong personality who wouldn’t
fade within the strength of an in-depth story. Wake Reynolds turned out to be
the perfect main character. At the start of the novel, his actions make him so
easy to despise. Yet, I fell in love with his character immediately, probably
because he had fallen so far. I thought it would be fun watching him rise up
against the bonds of Hell. After many revisions, I handed the manuscript to a
few early readers for feedback. As their comments began to flow in, many of
them asked me why I hated Wake so much. At first, I was surprised. They said,
“Every time it seems like things start to go well for Wake, you throw him down
again.” I guess I’m guilty of taunting him with “happily ever after.” He’s a
demonic bad-boy, but as we search within him, we discover someone who is
intensely loyal and tragically vulnerable. He wants a chance to experience
everything he’s lost—love, friendship, a family, even a future. I hope you
enjoy watching Wake struggle through this journey as much as I enjoyed making
his life Hell.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
An important
part of the writing process is getting feedback from people with an eye for
detail. When critique partners and friends finished reading an early version of
this novel, many were surprised by the dark, sometimes violent nature of the
book. Not that it’s over-the-top violent, it’s just that people know me as a
calm and happy person (on most occasions.) But that’s what makes creativity so
addictive. While writing <i>Our Souls to
Keep,</i> I was able to explore a tragic, paranormal life of Wake Reynolds without
leaving the comfort of my home. That’s not to say I was able to detach from
Wake’s horrible situation. In order to believably stitch together fantasy and
reality, it’s important to engage in the character, to feel what he feels, to
know what he wants and what he’s willing to do to get it. It’s like how an
actor prepares for a role. At times, Wake’s deep, conflicted emotions made me
push away from the computer, sometimes feeling the same emotions. Wake is a
powerful and vulnerable character. He searches for happiness while being
tormented by decisions of life and death. I hope as you ride through the twists
and turns of Wake’s extraordinary journey, you enjoy getting to know the
passion and desires that make him a special character.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
People ask me
what I think is the hardest part of writing a novel. For <i>Our Souls to Keep</i>, it was including a strong romantic element in
the story without being overtly sexual. Most people don’t experience the
heightened level of romance that fiction presents so well. I suppose that’s the
allure. Creating a believable and loving relationship between two very
different characters was difficult. It can easily fall into a corny, redundant
pattern. “I love you” and holding hands isn’t nearly enough to express the
intense emotions that develop between Wake and Annemarie. Born within a tragic
journey, surrounded by secrets, their relationship becomes complicated. That
made every interaction between them so important—the nature of their touch, the
hesitancy in their words, and finally the birth of their spoken and unspoken
love. I’m very pleased with how well the novel represents their tenderness. I
hope it sparks a wide spectrum of emotions within you. I know it did for me.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In fact,
after a few early drafts, I changed the beginning to be more jarring, kind of
punch in the gut. Because it involves teen suicide, I was challenged to write an
engaging, realistic scene with paranormal violence, and still respect a serious
issue. I worked for many days before I was comfortable that it in no way
triggered or promoted suicide. Initially a couple editors said the YA market
wasn’t ready for that kind of realistic imagery. That was two years ago and
since then, the market has changed and many YA authors are addressing difficult
topics, like drug use, bullying, and eating disorders, in a responsible way. Wake
Reynolds is an unlikeable character in the beginning of the book, mostly
because he does horrible things to defenseless, vulnerable teens. As he
searches for his lost humanity, I don’t think he ever truly forgives himself.
The responsibility and regret he has for his actions and the effect it has on
the people around him is what makes Wake so endearing. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It’s fascinating
how people lock into the relationship that develops between Wake and Annemarie.
I understand, their relationship is tender and uncertain. And it’s probably the
aspect of the story that readers can easily relate to. For me, the background
conflict between Heaven and Hell is just as engaging. In our lives, too often,
good is good and bad is bad, but in a fantasy world, theses lines can get
blurred. After all, is anything totally good or evil? And what is each side
willing to do to get their desired outcome? It isn’t so clear-cut when both
Heaven and Hell are both strongly motivated to succeed. As Wake and Annemarie
search for safety and salvation, they find themselves caught in the center of
something much larger than they can ever understand. How they struggle against
these two powerful forces is one of the reasons readers will be gripped to <i>Our Souls to Keep</i> until the very end.</div>

every emotion bottled up inside. Using a blade she finds release from her pain,

all her bottled emotion comes screaming out in one night of horrific
embarrassment and betrayal, causing her to push the blade to deep and the pale

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><span style="color: #741b47; font-size: small;"> Nora didn’t think herself anything special, if anything she
was different. Merely for her love of politics, war, and her dislike of certain

hero; Bram is anything but normal and certainly not a catch…or so he thought. </span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><span style="color: #741b47; font-size: small;"> The only way to describe this book would be to compare.
Imagine the world of Jane Austen, yet instead of your mother attempting to
marry you off for money, it is your aunt and you have no siblings. Now, we
throw in a dash of Warm Bodies with your love interest being a completely irresistible
Zombie! I have to say this author rocked it when it came to mixing those two
elements. </span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><span style="color: #741b47; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span> I fell in love with a book, a Zombie, and the beauty of
their love; the kind of love that is not fueled by lust but by the heart. Mine
broke and healed all in the course of this book and I strongly recommend it. </span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: red; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif; font-size: small;">Interesting,
that’s the one word I could use to describe this book. I will admit
that for me the book did not get started really until half way through.
Although the entire book is intriguing, it took me longer than I would
have liked to get through the first half. I was constantly at battle
with myself to put the book down or pick it back up. <br /><br />That makes
it much more interesting considering the game that plays out within the
book; Two sides constantly trying to outdo the other, and then in the
end finding bliss. This would be how I felt about this book. Once at the
end there was no doubt it was worth the read and I
absolutely loved it.</span></div>

overwhelming and I will be reading this book again. </span></div>

<span style="color: #0b5394;">Oh how I loved this book. The humor was right up my ally and the drama was never ending. Within the first few chapters my mouth was literally agape. How could he do that...and of course the perspective is entirely Allan's'. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #0b5394;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #0b5394;">In that first chapter you are bombarded with this new idea of heaven, an angel with issues, and a snop to say the least. Then of course there is the lovely decor, different sections within heaven, which of course only add depth to this book; but for me it was the humor within the story that I loved so much. Of course not to say I didn't LOVE this story but the author had this amazing way of giving even the heavy moments a bit of fluff. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #0b5394;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #0b5394;">I absolutely hate giving spoilers so I will end with saying that this book was amazing and I hold this author high in ranking. I look forward to reading more books from him and I highly recommend you read this one. </span></div>

<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">In
this book Daphne takes the lead with Truman by her side. I absolutely
love the twist on the biblical story of Adam and Eve, instead, there was
Adam and Lilith who became pregnant with Obie and after leaving the
Garden of Eden. When she returned there was another woman in her place,
Eve. Lilith then met Lucifer and since she has been trapped in hell, in a
room of steel flowers and vines that gives her glimpses of the human
world. </span><br />
<span style="color: #666666;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"> After
Obie leaves hell for, of all things, love, she gets a glimpse of
something horrible and soon Daphne is racing against human time, in a
world so strange to her, to find her brother before Azrael and Dark
dreadful. Enlisting the help of Truman , they must race to discover the
truth and something far more surprising then the reader could imagine.</span><br />
<span style="color: #666666;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">The
author put a lot of thought into her characters and spun the bible in a
way that makes you want to keep reading. Daphne and Truman make quite a
pair, both of them internally fighting their own confusion and demons.
She never takes away the demonic attributes but instead shows them in a
way that makes them vunerable, beautiful, and loving, even at their most
terrible. This book will suck you in heart and sole.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="color: #6fa8dc;">For
this book Mackie Doyle steals the spotlight. There are many leadership
roles in this book, but he takes the cake. Although he has lived in
Gentry since he was an infant he is part of The House of Mayhem,
switched at birth by the Lady's right hand (The Cutter). Every seven
years she takes one of theirs and replaces it with one of hers. Now,
Tate's sister Natalie is one of the taken. Reluctantly, he agrees to
help her find her sister and in the process angers the Lady. I fell in
love in love with this book and the ending was perfect to me. It well
deserves five stars and I can't wait to read more from this author.</span> </span></div>

<span style="color: #0b5394;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Walking Disaster is the follow up to Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire, all told from Travis Maddox point of view. If you loved the first book you will DIE for the second. I must say I instantly fell in love with Travis and was more than happy to pick up this book to get into that beautiful head of his. </span></span><br />

<span style="color: #0b5394;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">To me this was perfect from the very start. Getting an understanding for what Travis really was thinking when he did some of the things he had and to feel how he felt. At times my heart was truly hurting for all the pain he was feeling. In on part of the book where the fire happen, my heart was going a mile a minute in panic and worry over them getting out and then the panic he had when he couldn't find his brother. The journey I went on inside his thoughts and watch as he changed through out the book was everything and more that I had been looking forward to with this book.</span></span><br />
