Fathomless
Celia Reynolds is the
youngest in a set of triplets and the one with the least valuable power.
Anne can see the future, and Jane can see the present, but all Celia
can see is the past. And the past seems so insignificant -- until Celia
meets Lo.
Lo doesn't know who she is. Or who she was. Once a human, she is now almost entirely a creature of the sea -- a nymph, an ocean girl, a mermaid -- all terms too pretty for the soulless monster she knows she's becoming. Lo clings to shreds of her former self, fighting to remember her past, even as she's tempted to embrace her dark immortality.
When a handsome boy named Jude falls off a pier and into the ocean, Celia and Lo work together to rescue him from the waves. The two form a friendship, but soon they find themselves competing for Jude's affection. Lo wants more than that, though. According to the ocean girls, there's only one way for Lo to earn back her humanity. She must persuade a mortal to love her . . . and steal his soul.
Admittedly, I started reading this book over a year ago and shamefully put it down. After reading the first chapter, I became upset....What? the author blended the first two book beautifully. Now we go from wolves to mermaids? Anywhoo, I decided to pick it back up yesterday and I am so glad I did. The book does tie in with the other two, you just have to read further to figure it out. It is a bit slow to start but not yawn worthy by any means and the perfect amount of detail.
*SLIGHT SPOILER* the beautiful Lo that lives in the water now is the sister to one of our characters in Sweetly.
Moving on to book four now, good things expected.

Too Far: Rosemary Beach Series
4.5 stars
I gave this series as a whole 4.5 stars out of 5. These are Books 1,2, & 4 in the Rosemary Beach series and follow Blaire Wynn and Rush Finlay.
This starts out with Blaire Wynn in a strange town at a house she with people she doesn't know, except for her dad. We soon learn that her father is not even here waiting for her when she needed him the most, at least until she gets back on her feet.
Enter Rush Finlay, he is the only child of a rock star and a big deal in this small town, and he is Blaire's stepbrother.
I loved this whole series. At time's I even hated Rush. When you read this book your emotions are all over the place. Then you find the one character in which you grab a hold of and take aim for, let it be anger, hate, understanding or anything really. For me that was Rush's spoiled brat of a sister Nan. She goes out of her way to being mean to Blaire and blame her for everything wrong in her life. Through it all though Blaire is somehow still strong, though at times you feel like Nan might actually break her down.
Rush has always taken Nan's side but as the series goes on he really has to pick between always sticking up for her and cleaning up her mess or fighting for the girl he loves and the family he wants.
I would recommend this series to everyone out there (18+ due to some sexual content). There are some funny moments, like Blaire pulling a gun on Nan. There are some hot moments, like Rush having sex with a girl on the patio and Blaire seeing, needless to say he lets her know that he knew she was watching. Blush worthy moment!!!
