Summer McGallian is the home wrecking teacher from Against the Wall and Between the Sheets. Going into this third book of the series I was excited to learn more about this character. Needless to say I was really pleased and excited to know that she is completely different from how she had been portrayed in the first two books. Summer is more than just the extremely attractive teacher at the high school; she is a tomboy at heart.

Dean Michaels is the hot Sexy Guy that Summer sees once at the brewery she likes to hang at. After seeing him one time she could not forget him, until she learns that he is also a teacher at the same high school as her. To make matters worse, Dean and her ex Chase have a history that could change things for Dean and Summer.

Straddling The Edge is the third book in the Against the Wall series, and it did not let me down at all as most books in a series seem to die out by the thirds one. I was laughing and on the edge of my seat the entire time. To me learning more about Summer McGallian made this feel more complete to me, I liked her in the other books too simply because I felt there had to be more to her character.  Dean added to this book and brought the heat level up for me. I will say that I was glad that the romance was at the start of the book and didn’t take a while to build up to. Over all this was a great read and I cannot wait for others to be able to pick this up and continue on with this series.

On a side note to this book if you loved Shelly or Melissa then you will be happy to know that yes they are in this book and YES they do keep the humor going. Summer though is very funny on her own along with her parents and Deans when they make a short appearance in the book. And if I had to rate this book I would give it a 5 /5 stars!
