Meghan Chase, Puck, Ash, and Grimalkin

"My name is Meghan Chase. In less than twenty-four hours I'll be sixteen. Countless stories, songs, and poems have been written about this wonderful age, when a girl finds true love and the stars shine for her and the handsome prince carries her off into the sunset. I DON'T THINK IT WILL BE THAT WAY FOR ME."

Book 1 in the Iron Fey series, The Iron King, is a fantastic start. Filled with adventure around every turn. I have read a lot of reviews for this book and I am somewhat shocked that more of them do not talk about how most of the characters you might know for a great play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Now I have read this in high school but I feel like maybe I should have brushed up on it for this book. Even so this was a wonderful read. I loved how the characters played off of each other, along with how the author introduced you to different fey. Puck by far was my favorite character of all  and once you read this you might know why with his humor and all, followed close by Ash and his enemy charm. When this story ends you are reaching for the second book wanting more. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars and highly recommend this!
